GRAND RAPIDS, MI — Are you going to be in downtown Grand Rapids on New Year’s Eve?
Say goodbye to 2015 and hello to 2016 at the Subway HOT New Year’s Eve event in GR!
The big news: The annual party has a new location.
Families can ring in the new year on Grandville Avenue SW at Cherry Street, just north of Founders Brewing. The free concert begins at 7 p.m. Dec. 31. This year’s headliners are pop duo Tryon; dance pop group Five Knives; artist Kevin Rudolf; and alt-rock band Carolina Liar, best known for the single “Show Me What I’m Looking For.” Local singer Ja’Leeyna Dooley also will perform.
An outdoor beer tent also is planned.
Also, don’t forget the Grand Rapids Griffins also have a new big event planned at Van Andel Arena. The game begins at 6 p.m.
