Preview of Lansing Brewing Company

LANSING, MI — John and I were lucky enough to get to go tour the brand new Lansing Brewing Company this week.

A great addition to downtown Lansing, this soon to open spot is located right around the corner from Cooley Law School Stadium, home of the Lansing Lugnuts.

It will feature a from scratch kitchen, about 8 beers on tap, and a huge outdoor patio complete with fire pits.  The head brewer, Sawyer Stevens, is working hard on making sure they will have plenty of beer when they open.

A former brewer at Bells and Upper Hand Brewery, Stevens is excited about one of their signature brews, the Amber Cream Ale.  This is one of the original beers that LBC made when they were first around in the late 1800s, and a style that you really won’t find anywhere else.

A fall opening is planned, check out the Lansing Brewing Company Facebook page for more updates!
