Grand Rapids, Michigan- Behind the Mitten is excited to announce our upcoming event at Kingma’s Market this September 14. Our friends at Perrin Brewing Company are releasing their highly anticipated cans that day, and we will be helping to celebrate with a special tasting at the market.
From 5:00 to 6:30 on Monday September 14, you can join these two chuckleheads at the market for a special tasting of all three Perrin cans. The fall release includes the Perrin Gold, Perrin Black, as well as 98 Problems IPA. Perrin is available on draft around town, and does do special bottle releases from time to time, but the unveiling of the can line has been hotly anticipated since the brewery opened.
Behind the Mitten is also happy to partner with the Purple Community for their Hops for Hope fundraiser. During the months of September and October, participating breweries and restaurants will donate one dollar from every pint of Purple beer to the Van Andel Institute. The beers are different at each location, head to the website to get the full list. Kingma’s Market and Behind the Mitten are also partnering with Hops for Hope by offering free growlers to the first 60 people that join us on September 14. You can take these growlers to Perrin Brewing and fill them with their Blackberry IPA , this is the official Hops for Hope beer!
So come join John and Amy at Kingma’s Market on Monday September 14 from 5:00 to 6:30 to try some great Perrin Beer and help raise money for a great cause.
