GRAND RAPIDS, MI — John “Gonzo” Gonzalez of MLive and Behind the Mitten stopped by WZZM-TV 13 in Grand Rapids for his weekly segment on things to do this weekend.

In this segment with TV13’s Jennifer Pascua, John also previews what’s coming up on this weekend’s radio show.

On the set of WZZM you will the Lansing Brewing Company’s Angry Mayor IPA. It is this weekend’s BEER OF THE WEEK on Behind the Mitten.

The beer was inspired by Lansing Mayor Virg Bernero, who is known as “The Angry Mayor.” The beer is one of LBC’s top two sellers.

John recently traveled to Lansing to meet the mayor; then later Amy Sherman of BTM joined him to interview head brewer Sawyer Stevens about the Angry Mayor IPA.

John and Amy will have a special podcast about the beer available soon on BehindTheMitten.com.

Make sure to listen to this weekend’s show, which airs on several radio stations around the state.
